**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinates the execution of exceptional and personalized service standards from Front of House staff to all members and their guests, paying specific attention to peak volume periods. “Table Touching.”
- Manages the front of house day-to-day, operations in the restaurants/outlets.
- Provides leadership and high energy to cultivate a positive and fun work culture. Monitors all members and employee policies and regulations to ensure they are followed.
- Coordinates the management of OpenTable reservations and floorplans.
- Monitors, supervises, and evaluates daily, the execution of standard operating procedures related to set-up and maintenance of the restaurant, bar, patio, and grab-and-go outlets to ensure that are up to service standards. Reports any safety concerns to the Director of F&B and HR.
- Coordinates and monitors effective pre-shifts, floor presence, supervision, and leadership during peak periods of dining and events.
- Handles and resolves F&B-related member complaints and concerns, and evaluates and directs the need for service recovery.
- Executes staff training programs to ensure Front of House Service Team Members continue to improve in their performance.
- Manages scheduling of all Front of House and Event service staff including supervisors, servers, bartenders, host, server support, and event staff, ensuring alignment with service expectations and budget.
- Assists the Director of F&B in coordinating all beverage, beer, liquor, wine and sundry-related inventory including ordering, receiving, and menu development.
- Maintains and optimizes the Jonas Point of Sale Systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date menu items and pricing.
- Collaborates, communicates, and supports as a liaison to the kitchen, all other F&B outlets and departments within the Club.
- Supports the Club’s internal and external events; works closely with the Director of Catering and Club Events or relevant manager/supervisor to coordinate support when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the upscale hospitality industry. Private club experience is considered an asset
- Valid Serving It Right Certificate
- A strong commitment to exceeding members/guests' expectations
- Has familiarity with variables affecting finances (budgets, labour management, productivity, revenue, and expense management)
- Product knowledge of wines, liquors, beers, and other beverages with experience managing inventory and ordering
- A Sommelier designation or WSET is considered as an asset.
- Able to work under pressure during busy periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the capacity to set priorities for self and others.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
**Compensation and Benefits**:
- Full-time, permanent position; Base Salary of $65,000+; based on qualifications and experience
