We are currently looking for an experienced **Restaurant Manager **eager to join our team of elite hospitality professionals who redefine luxury service and guest experience on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be an ambassador of the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa and _Relais & Châteaux _ brands
- Always provide professional, intuitive and courteous service
- Must be a prominent presence and actively engaged on the floor to ensure the overall smooth operations of all F&B outlets including Bacchus Restaurant, In-Room Dining, Mini Bar and Banquet events
- Understanding that this position requires the ability to work evenings and perform closing duties
- Ability to supervise ambiance, music, lighting, settings, style and overall presentation and guest experience in all outlets
- Assist in the ongoing recruiting and training of F&B Team
- Provide team members with coaching, performance feedback, recognition and, as necessary, corrective actions.
- Regularly seeks feedback from guests & colleagues in order to improve guest experience, address issues & deficiencies & remove barriers to success
- Responsible for maintaining inventories, adequate par levels and purchasing of necessary product and equipment under the supervision of the Director of Food & Beverage
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, maintenance, presentation and safety of the restaurant through regular inspections and areas of deficiency are resolved to achieve service expectations
- Manage operational budget and labor cost effectively with well-executed efficiency-enhancing techniques
- Promote a positive work environment and culture by maintaining strong and supportive relationships with all team members
- Manage schedule, payroll and time off requests
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are being followed by all team members
- Other job-related duties and projects as assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a comparable restaurant
- Management/Supervisory experience an asset.
- Enjoys working within a team to achieve great results.
- Must be a prominent presence on the floor in Bacchus.
- Ability to supervise restaurant ambiance, music, lighting, settings, style and overall presentation.
- Maintain the highest level of service standards.
- Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, ensuring all inventory is maintained and documented accurately.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, maintenance and presentation plus safety of the restaurant through inspections and ensures areas of deficiency are resolved to achieve service expectations.
- Ensure the overall smooth operation of the outlet, managing labor effectively, working on cost saving techniques, opening and closing responsibilities
- Excellent Food & Beverage knowledge.
- Wine Training (ISG or WSET) or experience an asset.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience on Squirrel or Micros and Tock an asset.
- Must be legal to work in Canada.
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule.

Pay: $62,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 1 year (required)
- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)

- Squirrel/Micros: 1 year (required)
