Our products are trusted across e-commerce (Shopify, Amazon, global marketplaces) and retail (health food stores, pharmacies, beauty retailers, and practitioner offices) throughout North America.We are seeking a Head of Finance & Operations — a unique hybrid role designed to strengthen our Finance leadership while also providing critical Operations depth during a maternity leave and a period of rapid growth.

You’ll work alongside our COO (Ops strategy) and fractional CFO (Finance strategy), while you own execution across Finance and provide hands-on Ops leadership in manufacturing, supply chain, and ERP. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact seat where you’ll influence both financial performance and operational execution in a scaling brand.

What You’ll Do

Finance Leadership
- Oversee Sage for daily accounting, monthly close, reconciliations, AP/AR.
- Deliver dashboards & KPIs (sales by channel, margins, inventory turns, OPEX).
- Support fractional CFO on forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
- Analyze retail B2B deal structures (pricing, margins, terms) and guide profitability strategy.
- Ensure compliance with tax, filings, and audit readiness.Operations Execution (with COO partnership)
- Temporarily backfill Ops execution during maternity leave.
- Oversee Brightpearl ERP, Shopify, Amazon, and 3PL integrations.
- Manage supply chain planning, vendor relationships, and fulfillment.
- Lead manufacturing coordination for high-volume bottling lines and private label production, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost-efficiency.
- Track KPIs: lead times, fill rates, landed costs, gross-to-net.Leadership & Cross-Functional Impact
- Lead Finance team directly; oversee Ops staff executionally while covering mat leave.
- Act as a bridge between COO and fractional CFO, ensuring alignment of financial and operational priorities.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams on channel profitability, retail deal structures, and margin optimization.

Who You Are
- CPA, CA, or equivalent (required).
- 7-12 years in Finance + Ops leadership, ideally in CPG, e-commerce, or beauty/wellness.
- Manufacturing expertise — direct experience with large-volume bottling lines, private label production, and contract manufacturers.
- Strong ERP/tech stack skills (Brightpearl, Sage, Shopify preferred).
- Proven ability to scale businesses across D2C and retail B2B simultaneously.
- Hands-on operator who thrives in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments.
- Deep passion and expertise in wellness, supplements, and natural beauty.
