Wee World Day Care located in Portage la Prairie is looking for a Site Supervisor for their second location. We are looking for an Early Childhood Educators II’s or Early Childhood Educator III’s who are passionate about early learning, energetic, motivated, and responsible to join our new and growing program.

Wee World Day Care is a dual site organization with infants, preschool and a school age program in each center. We are dedicated to supporting children and families by providing an environment that meets their emotional, social, physical, and developmental needs.

Position Responsibilities include but are not limited too:

- Working under the direction of the Executive Director to coordinate with child care staff on the on-going development of an enjoyable and educational indoor and outdoor program. That is appropriate to the physical, emotional, and social needs of the individual children in the program.
- Supervises and implements the above program
- ensures preparation of adequate program materials and activity space.
- Evaluates program continuously and reports the Executive Director regarding process and problems.
- Participates directly in the program activity on a regular basis
- Organizes the required space, equipment, and materials prior to activities
- Observes and attends to children’s physical needs
- Working in a team environment
- House keeping duties
- Participates in educational opportunities

**Requirements**:

- Must be an Early Childhood Educator ll or III
- Must be 18 years of age
- Willing to obtain Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Demonstrates aptitude for programming, leadership, good organizational and communications skills
- Minimum of two years experience working with children in a child care or related setting
