**Overview**
Wee World Day Care has three locations with infant, preschool and school age children. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator II/ or III to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning through play and exploration.

**Duties**
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support the overall development of each child.
- Assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their child's development and learning milestones.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience and ensure consistency in teaching practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible for children.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education II or III that is valid in Manitoba.
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks.
- Previous experience in an early childhood setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Criminal record check and child abuse registry check.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Must be flexible with shift and willing to learn about working in every program
