Happy Daycare is hiring in Grande Prairie Level 3 Early Childhood Educator and Daycare Manager Position:
Happy Daycare is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a dual role as both an educator and a daycare manager.

As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children while overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the daycare.

**Responsibilities**:

- Educational Leadership:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive, play-based curriculum aligned with early learning frameworks and developmental milestones.
- Create engaging lesson plans, activities, and learning experiences that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports each child's individual needs and encourages a love for learning.

**Team Management**:

- Supervise and support a team of early childhood educators, assistants, and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork among staff members.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to ensure ongoing professional growth and excellence.

**Operational Management**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Happy Daycare, including scheduling, enrollment, and attendance management.
- Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and other relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage administrative tasks such as record-keeping, financial management, and inventory control.
- Cultivate strong relationships with parents and families, ensuring open communication, addressing concerns, and facilitating parent involvement in their child's development.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in early childhood education, incorporating them into the program as appropriate.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of the curriculum, environment, and staff performance to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance personal knowledge and skills in early childhood education and management.

**Qualifications**:

- A Level 3 Early Childhood Education certification or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as an early childhood educator, preferably with managerial responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development, educational methodologies, and curriculum planning.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proficient organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
- Understanding of licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements.
