We are looking for the perfect person to join our Bambini famiglia Bambini is looking for a Pedagogista for one of our child care centres This is a wonderful opportunity to coach and lead a team of staff for a beautiful Reggio-Inspired program.

**What is a Pedagogista?**

The Pedagogista leads, guides, and supports the program’s educators to ensure that all

practices are in line with the Bambini approach to early learning and education. The person in

this position focuses on the quality of the program following its philosophy, policies, and

procedures. They must be articulate, well versed in Reggio-inspired practices, and a phenomenal coach who can inspire and motivate others.

**Some core job duties**:

- Creating and managing staff schedules
- Supervising, coaching, and inspiring a team of approximately 25 individuals
- Conducting observations
- Planning and hosting meetings (as our educators have monthly individual and room meetings on a monthly basis)
- Monitoring and ensuring that the presentation of the environment is aesthetically pleasant and creates a sense of wonder and curiosity
- Monitoring and ensuring the quality of provocations and experiences
- Overseeing that quality planning and programming is taking place, which caters to the children’s schemas and interests
- Overseeing that planning is evidenced through children’s representations of learning, observations shared with families, and in written learning stories
- Purchasing art supplies, program supplies, natural resources, loose parts, etc.
- Ensuring that our holistic practices are taking place in the program
- Participating in recruiting, hiring, and training new educators
- Monitoring our attendance and messaging system
- Working with the other pedagogistas and our lead pedagogista to plan and execute quarterly PD Days.

**Credentials**:

- Must have a Level 3 Child Care Certification
- Early Learning and Child Care Diploma or Degree
- Clear police security clearance check
- First aid in child care certificate
- Training in Flight is an asset
- Strong familiarity and passion for Reggio-inspired child care

**Salary**:

- $3600/month salary PLUS wage top-off

**Training**:
Full training and coaching will be provided through our online Bambini Academy and by our Lead Pedagogista.

**Salary**: $3,600.00 per month
