Child Care Centre Director

**Communication and presence are at the heart of this role.** We’re looking for a leader who is out front—connecting with families during drop-offs and pick-ups, actively communicating with educators throughout the day, and setting the tone for the center. We've significantly reduced the administrative workload so the role is now primarily focused on being present, building relationships, and leading the team on-site.

**Must have over 3 years of experience operating a large centre.**

We are looking for a Centre Director to perform the day-to-day tasks of operating a daycare.
- outgoing, confident, professional, cheery personality, holistic-minded
- knowledge of whole child development and Reggio philosophy an asset
- ensures licensing and operating compliance
- hires and works with the leadership team to train educators
- has strong knowledge of scheduling and managing ratios
- strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- organized and good at time-management
- administrative tasks (subsidy claims, child files, staff files; etc.)
- responsible for hiring, creating new files, and training of educators
- works with an enrollment specialist to ensure the centre is full
- will have the support of an Area Pedagogista who assists in the programming

We have a large support network of admin support from the Leadership Team which includes payroll, invoicing, HR, and an enrollment specialist.

**Level 3 qualified with at least 3-5 years experience of director duties.**

Pay: $68,000.00-$73,000.00 per year
