Dunwald and Fleming Enterprises Ltd. is seeking skilled and experienced **Sewer** **and Water Pipelayers**to join our team for the 2025 construction season. This position involves working on sewer and water utility installation projects across Alberta and surrounding areas. the role requires precision, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.

Certifications / Training:

- Proven experience as a pipelayer in sewer and water utility installation projects.
- Familiarity with trenching, pipe-laying methods, and backfilling techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and grade stakes.
- Ground Disturbance Level 2 Certification (In-class)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
- Mandatory pre-screening for drug/alcohol.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, days, weekends, and overtime.
- CSTS and WHMIS

Key Responsibilities:

- Install sewer and water lines, including mainlines, services, and connections.
- Lay and align pipes accurately to grade specifications.
- Perform trenching, backfilling, and compacting as required.
- Inspect and ensure proper functioning of pipe systems.
- Work closely with the excavator operator and other crew members to ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Working hours are typically 7 am - 5 pm; 5-6 days a week with overtime paid as per AB construction industry standard.

We offer in-house progressive training and opportunities for advancement within our company such as, fusing, equipment operators, welders’ helpers, foreman's, etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
