**Job Summary**:
The Release Coordinator is responsible for managing the planning, scheduling, and controlling of software releases, ensuring seamless deployment and mínimal disruption to services. He/she will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage the deployment of new features and updates.
**Specific Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate the release lifecycle for pharmacy software, from planning to deployment.
- Ensure clear communication and collaboration between technical and business teams.
- Oversee delivery of major releases, service packs, hot fixes and change requests.
- Develop and maintain Pilot and Rollout release schedules, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
- Be proactive in engaging support staff to ensure high systems availability and speedy issue resolution.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with software releases.
- Monitor and report on release progress and performance metrics.
- Continuously improve release processes and strategies.
**Key Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a software environment
- Proven experience in release management or software project coordination.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with following tools: Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in an Agile (Scrum / Kanban) environment.
- Must be delivery-focused and able to take ownership of deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize and escalate issues as needed.
- Strong customer service orientation.
**Additional Specific Requirements**:
- Command Centre tool experience.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $64,200 - $106,900
