**We are looking for an Event Supervisor to join our Events Team**

ONE Restaurant hosts events of up to 100 guests within a variety of private dining spaces, our main dining room, bar and patio. The Event Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the setup, execution and teardown of all special events, greeting the client and communicating event details to the waitstaff and kitchen team. We are looking to fill this role with an individual that is passionate about events, can confidently communicate with team members and ensure our client’s needs and vision are met to create a memorable event experience.

**Education and Experience**
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an event management or a similar role
- Certificate or degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality or Events preferred but equivalent work experience (2+ years) will also be considered
- Smart Serve Certificate

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Events Team to become familiar with the upcoming events and their requirements
- Onsite event management, oversee waitstaff team and communicate key food service points with the kitchen team such as timing and allergies
- Greet client at the event, anticipate their needs, answer questions and respond positively to any additional requests
- Receive and organize rentals and items provided by external vendors
- Oversee and assist with the setup and teardown of the event space(s)
- Close billing for the event ensuring accuracy and complete a post event report
- Organization of the return of rental items and load out of external vendor items post event
- Manage the organization of internal event equipment, report any issues to managers
- Communicate event staffing needs to scheduling manager
- Communicate special order wine, bar and beverage needs to sommelier and bar manager
- Some administrative duties
- Other duties as assigned by the Events Team

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
