Finally, there is light at the end of the tunnel, and the event industry is back in action Therefore, we are undergoing a mass hiring process for Supervisors, Bartenders, Wait Staff for our formal sit-down dinner and banquet events to add to our established roster.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Key responsibilities of the Bar and Wait Staff include, but are not limited to:

- Bar staff fill drink orders for clients. They prepare standard mixed drinks and mix drinks to suit a customer's taste. Bar staff clean up at the end of their shifts. Bar staff may be responsible for ordering and maintaining an inventory of liquor, mixes, and other bar supplies. Experienced bartenders with smart serve credentials preferred.
- Wait Staff need to be familiar with the menu, knowledgeable and able to provide service for a sit-down dinner, understand how things are prepared, what they taste like, and if special requests are allowed, they also need to know how to set up and clear tables. In addition, they need to be informed about specials and special events. Preference for servers experienced in formal high-end sit-down dinners (white-glove service), buffet and banquet hall service, staging venues, setting up venues, and organizing working areas such as bussing stations.

**SKILLS**
- 2+ years in the events /catering industry
- Previous front of house experience
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work in a highly organized manner
- Positive attitude and excellent oral communication skills
- Proven excellence with client and staff relations
- Previous experience as a bartender and/or server
- Ability to provide positive customer service
- Awareness of and appreciation for individual uniqueness and diversity
- High degree of sensitivity to the importance of confidentiality and discretion
- Smart and professional appearance
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Mature attitude, honesty, loyalty and exceptional work ethic
- Ability to work well within a team
- Comply with all DGS policies and procedures

**Required experience**:

- Events Experience (Bartender/ Server): 2+ years

**Required license or certification**:

- Smart Serve certified
- Food Handler certified

**Pay Rate**:

- $20/hour starting base
