**Job Summary**

Holiday Inn Express & Suites is currently looking for a full-time or part-time Breakfast Attendant.

You will be responsible for insuring 100% satisfaction. Greet guests, perform all tasks as required. Lead by example, strong team player and self-starter, with the ability to work independently as required. **A strong customer satisfaction disposition is mandatory.**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Always wear uniform during work, very limited jewellery while during work, hair must be tied properly and no facial piercings are allowed while working the front lines.
- Contribute to achieving the loyalty of our guests by exceeding their expectations and providing warm personal service.
- Handle guest complaints and comments in a professional manner and provide the follow up required to co-workers and Managers.
- Respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely manner.
- Remove all garbage and dispose to the big bin at the end of every shift.
- Adhere to all Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brand Standards, and establish recipe specifications within the kitchen and the hotel.
- Monitor food quality, prepare and serve food, in a courteous and efficient manner, to all guests, in accordance with operations standards and storage.
- Ensure all food MUST be labelled by date of arrival, stored properly in containers.
- Ensure that the Prep kitchen, serving areas and the lodge are always clean and well organized.
- Handle all hotel guests in an expedited and professional manner.
- Set-up and clean up the Meeting Rooms for any catering required as per contracts.
- Maintain responsibility and accountability for the hotel property and the safety of guests, and have authority for the hotel operations while on duty.
- Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and colleagues by maintaining knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures; as well as Fire Panel /Evacuation procedures.
- Follow hotel all policies and procedures and confidentialities as guide lined and complete the daily check lists and all assigned work.
- Must be flexible in scheduling to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
- Must complete all daily tasks, inventory lists and daily checklist.
- Maintain all Health and Safety standards as per hotel and Alberta Health.
- Notify the Hotel Manager of any unusual incident as instructed or otherwise deemed necessary regarding operation and/or safety & security of the hotel and guests.
- Advise Food and Beverage Supervisor or General Manager for any issues or concerns.
- Please note that your responsibility is not limited to this description as additional tasks can be added by the Management to their discretion.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00-$26.07 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
