**We're Hiring: Production/Service Coordinator**
Join our team and ensure the smooth execution of production and service tasks As our Production/Service Coordinator, you'll collaborate across departments, manage schedules, and keep projects on track for timely completion. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organization, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and independent environment.
- **Responsibilities**:_
**Scheduling Coordination**:
- Partner with estimators and supervisors to understand project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, factoring in material lead times, trade availability, and potential delays.
- Proactively track project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks that could impact deadlines.
- Communicate clearly with management and supervisors, keeping them updated on project progress and potential changes to relay to clients.
**Resource Coordination**:
- Manage employee skillsets and shop space allocation within the production schedule.
- Collaborate with purchasing to ensure parts and materials arrive on schedule.
- Coordinate subcontractor operations for seamless integration.
- Work with warehouse personnel to stage incoming parts and materials efficiently.
**Communication and Documentation**:
- Prepare and distribute call sheets, production updates, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare job documentation and create handover packages for client projects.
- Close and finish projects, ensuring costs are captured and budgets maintained.
- Communicate to Customers of project status
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a knack for prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Experience creating and using project management software (scheduling apps or spreadsheets).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with tradespeople, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently while being a team player.
- Experience in construction, trades, or a related field (preferred).
- Diploma or certificate in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (an asset).
**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
