**Duties**
- Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of meats according to established specifications and customer requests
- Package meat products securely and attractively for retail display or wholesale distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat preparation area in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist customers with selections, answer questions about meat cuts, and provide excellent service to enhance their shopping experience
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure freshness, safety, and quality of products at all times
- Operate knives and other cutting tools safely and efficiently, demonstrating expert knife skills and precision
- Restock display cases regularly to ensure product availability and visual appeal
- Adhere to all health regulations related to food production, storage, and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining a positive work environment

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in food production, food preparation or kitchen environments; restaurant or culinary experience is highly valued
- Strong knife skills with the ability to perform precise meat cutting and trimming tasks
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Familiarity with packaging techniques suitable for retail or wholesale meat products
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy loads safely
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
