**Your Opportunity**:
The purpose of this role is to work as part of a team to assemble an entire product or component of a commercial refrigerator/freezer that ultimately satisfies our customer’s needs in both quality and service.

Production Technicians will be involved in the assembly and integration of refrigeration units, including installing and testing cooling systems, wiring components, and incorporating smart technologies such as temperature sensors, digital displays, and IoT-enabled monitoring systems. This is a hands-on role that combines mechanical assembly with basic electrical and electronic work.

**Job Type**: Full-time (40 hours per week), Permanent

**Wage**: $19.00/hr

**Location**: Must be comfortable travelling to Milton or Georgetown

(with opportunities for overtime, and advancement)

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Work as part of a team to assemble components or products in an efficient manner
- Work with hand tools to assemble parts (training provided)
- Assemble and install refrigeration units, including compressors, evaporators, and control systems
- Integrate electronic components such as sensors, wiring harnesses, and control panels
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of refrigeration and electronic systems
- Communicate in a consistently respectful manner with your team members
- Continuously develop skills in all the tasks required in a particular production process
- Keep work areas clean and organized, take out garbage/recycling, sweep, etc. as needed
- Perform light lifts, some twisting, full-body movements, and more physical requirements in an ergonomic and safe manner
- Manage personal time and productivity
- Other duties as assigned

**You Have**:

- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Education in a related field such as an Electronics Engineering Technician/Technology diploma or equivalent is an asset
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a skilled laborer in a production or assembly setting
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- A valid license and vehicle to travel to Milton or Georgetown
- CSA-approved safety shoes
- Ability to perform the physical requirements including (but not limited to) standing, walking, repetitive motion, bending, twisting, grasping, stooping, and lifting
- Interest in working with an enthusiastic team in a manufacturing setting to provide excellence in quality and service
