Brooks Heating & Air is looking for HVAC Service Technicians to join our team to help serve our customer base across the North Halton

Brooks Heating & Air requires energetic, motivated and career-minded HVAC Lead Service tech/installer to be responsible for performing onsite installation and maintenance to HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems and equipment. He/she will either:

- professionally install HVAC equipment, accessory items, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes. Troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance.

The HVAC Service Technician shall also be responsible for keeping work areas clean and orderly and for driving Brooks Heating & Air vehicles, maintaining a mobile inventory of parts and tools.

Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure customers heating, ventilation, and air-condition equipment meets or exceeds the Technical Standards & Safety Authority’s codes and municipal building codes and standards.
- Follow all manufacturers installation and service processes and procedures.
- Educate customers on proper care and maintenance and promote all various HVAC options
- Complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections
- Maintain a clean, fully stocked vehicle
- Explain the benefits of newer highly efficient equipment to the customer.
- Promote Brooks Heating & Air products and services on every call.
- Must never sell the customer a repair they do not need.
- Provide a five-star experience on every call or make it right before leaving the customer’s home
- Feel comfortable requesting online reviews from customers.

Education/Experience/Skills
- A minimum of 3 years recent HVAC service or Installation experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters including tankless heaters
- Experience servicing and installing boilers and Heat pump an asset
- Must have demonstrated strong technical, customer service skills and company metrics in current and previous roles.
- Must be effective at HVAC lead generation.
- Sheet Metal Fabrication experience
- Valid Gas Fitter Two License
- Residential Air Conditioning (313D) License (Asset)
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record
- Hydronics Experience (Asset)
- Clear criminal record
- Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder
- An accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction and has a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation and commissioning of HVAC elements
- Strong customer service skills

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
