An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team as Marketing Manager. Vallen Canada is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the execution of our overall brand and marketing strategy in Canada. This role will leverage marketing programs to support growth, sales enablement, and brand awareness through innovative and creative marketing programs. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with sales, product teams, communications, suppliers and other stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Brand and Marketing Strategy**:

- Lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy for Vallen Canada, leveraging the Global Brand Guidelines and Playbook
- Ensure brand consistency and enhance brand visibility across all marketing channels.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and target customer segments.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Manage marketing team and provide direction, coaching and development to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives, as well as career development.

**Sales Growth and Sales Enablement**:

- Partner with sales teams to develop and execute marketing programs that support sales objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute campaigns, along with supplier partners and sales.
- Create and manage sales enablement materials, including presentations, brochures, and product sheets.
- Develop and implement lead generation and nurturing programs to support the sales and business development pipeline.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns, providing regular reports to stakeholders.

**Creative Marketing Programs**:

- Lead the creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives that engage target audiences and drive brand awareness.
- Develop, execute and support corporate events, tradeshows and other field based marketing activities.
- Alongside Canadian Communications leader, provide input to the development of country related content for blog posts, social media content, videos, and other channels.
- Collaborate with shared services teams and/or external agencies and vendors to develop creative materials and execute marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all marketing communications are aligned with brand guidelines and messaging.

**Supplier Marketing**
- Lead the development of joint marketing activities alongside our suppliers.
- Create and manage overall budget, manage marketing activities within budget and provide reporting as needed.

**Other**:

- Read, understand, and follow Vallen’s health, safety, and environment policies and all applicable OH&S legislation/regulations.
- Actively participate in Vallen’s health and safety management system, including training, audits, assessments, safety meetings, and inspections.
- Identify, control, and report workplace hazards including following WHMIS/TDG requirements and reporting near misses.
- Report workplace injuries immediately and participate in any return-to-work programs or requirements.
- Be fit for duty and physically capable of performing all required tasks.

**Education and Training**:

- High School Diploma required.
- College/University Diploma required (Business, and/or Sales & Marketing, focus preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- Minimum 5-7 years of related experience.
- Previous Management experience required.
- The ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload in a very fast paced environment.
