- Prepare detailed underwriting reports and communicate decisions clearly to relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational lending regulations throughout the underwriting process.
- Navigating CRM and client calls.
**Skills**
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Expertise in risk analysis to identify potential issues that could impact loan performance.
- Proficiency in financial services software and data collection tools used in mortgage underwriting.
- Excellent negotiation skills for discussing terms or resolving discrepancies with clients or team members.
- Solid understanding of math, accounting principles, and financial statements relevant to mortgage lending.
- Knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including compliance standards for mortgage underwriting. This position offers an engaging opportunity for professionals passionate about finance, risk management, and helping clients achieve homeownership through responsible lending practices.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $36,608.00-$40,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
