We are looking for an entrepreneurial minded **Business Development Associate** to join our team. This is a newly created position due to positive company growth. In this role you will be the first point of contact for our prospective customers; developing and nurturing leads for our client services team. You will also be responsible for driving new revenue growth by generating and qualifying potential new clients. What you bring to the table:
- 2-3 years of inside sales or business development
- Excellent communication skills in both English & French
- Experience working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Great capacity for collaboration and taking initiative
- Self-starter work ethic
- You like to work independently and are proactive by nature
- Be comfortable with computer systems
- Have a natural sense of customer service
- Positive attitude and a team player mindset
What your day looks like:
- Lead and develop the business development sales pipeline
- Create new business through qualifying leads
- Build potential client lists based on market research
- Act as the main point of contact for new sales
- Support the existing internal Client Services team
- Follow up and nurture new business opportunities
- Build up a customer database to streamline and gather data and communications history
- Identify prospect needs & requirements in order to assess alignment with Argus
- Maintain client, and potential client, files and records
