**Role description**
As Project Manager you are a vital link in the construction process. You will have the unique opportunity to take drawings, designs, and concepts and make them reality. Your creativity and quick thinking will be essential to your success. What works on paper doesn’t always work in the field, so being able to problem solve and come up with ideas will be key. We are looking for someone who is a good leader and has great people skills, who is proactive, constantly looking for bottlenecks and inefficiencies on a project and then coming up with solutions and putting them into action. We are seeking someone who is proud of the work they do but has humility to recognize that they didn’t do it alone. We work as a team, and it takes more than one person to accomplish a project. Someone who can see the small details but is also able to keep the big picture in view. We are offering a competitive wage based on experience, bonuses and we cover the cost for ongoing training and/or schooling. Pay mileage when traveling between job sites (personal vehicle) and provide a cell phone allowance. We average 3 weeks of paid leave per year, flexible work schedule and we will even pay you to read books
**What winning looks like in this role**:
- Be honest, we must be able to trust each other explicitly.
- Be able to take a building project from concept to completion and know what all the steps are in between.
- Create and manage detailed project schedules, scopes of work and budgets
- Take initiative to reach out to team members and industry leaders to find solutions to problems that you encounter.
- Work with our Site Super and help them with scheduling trades, material ordering and client care.
- Prioritize your time, know what needs your attention to keep projects moving
- Be passionate about your craft, always desiring to expand your skillset and knowledge. Pursue excellence, don’t let the small things slide. The little details really matter.
- Play an active role in our weekly team meetings, teach other team members what you know.
- Be the point person for multiple projects at a time.
- Your time will be spent primarily in office with onsite quality check-in’s.
- Balance your work and home life. When you’re at work be present and engaged, and when you’re at home be present and engaged.
**Skills needed to win**:
- Be a good leader, this job requires you to support our Site Supers as well as sub trades, and clients.
- Be organized, a construction site is an ever-changing organism. You need to be able to coordinate the day’s events as well as planning for tomorrow.
- We use a variety of software programs like Excel, Word, and ability to learn scheduling programs (we use Buildertrend).
- 5 years of Project Management or equivalent experience.
- Collage Diploma, university degree or combined academic background / experience in business administration and construction project management.
- Top-notch communication skills, including the ability to present research and ideas clearly to clients, team members and sub trades.
- Set and deliver on deadlines, goals and keep projects on budget.
- Build project budgets and maintain throughout the project.
- You **must** have your own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.

Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
