Residential Community Manager (On-Site) - PickeringPurposeResponsible for effectively managing a residential property while providing the highest level of customer service to residents and owners. Operate within our standards of safety, quality customer service, and efficient operations. Duties & ResponsibilitiesManagement of Staff:Supervise and manage operational staff working on and around the property.Ensure effective performance management of staff.Customer Service Relations:Maintain top-tier customer service for residents and owners.Communicate effectively with residents and relevant parties, addressing concerns promptly.Manage resident functions to foster respect and goodwill.Focus on resident retention.Handle resident and owner complaints promptly and appropriately.Administration:Monitor rent collection, reconciliation, and ensure compliance with relevant statutes. Communicate with residents regarding rent, and organize eviction processes if necessary.Code and approve invoices from suppliers and contractors.Review and approve rental applications.Building Maintenance:Conduct inspections of vacant units, noting deficiencies and preparing reports.Schedule and coordinate maintenance work.Place service calls and coordinate contracted work.Regularly inspect common areas and address deficiencies.Propose improvements to management processes.Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies within 15 minutes.QualificationsEducationPreference: College Degree.Must read and write English fluently, perform intermediate mathematical functions, and use property management software.ExperienceMinimum two years’ experience in residential property management or related field.Skills and AbilitiesAlign with company values of Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Trust.Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills.Proficient with computers and software.Motivated to learn and grow.Knowledge of maintenance requirements, vendor, and contract management.High stress tolerance.Special Requirements:Willingness to be on call and work irregular hours.Thank you for your interest in Sterling Karamar Property Management.We appreciate applications from all interested individuals; only selected candidates will be contacted.Sterling Karamar Property Management is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and encourages applications from people with disabilities, offering accommodations upon request. #J-18808-Ljbffr
