If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking to evolve your HR skills, this is the opportunity you have been waiting for- Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an individual passionate about developing their knowledge and skills in human resources, with an immediate focus on recruitment and compensation, to join our team as a temporary full-time Human Resources Intern for twelve (12) months. The Human Resources Intern will work in a collaborative environment and support both the recruitment and compensation teams in delivering on key critical processes to support the employee life cycle. The successful individual will provide a high standard of administrative support for the organization, including assisting with day-to-day tasks such as supporting recruitment processes, compensation and benefits processes, audits, and surveys, as well as supporting special project work.-

- **KEY FUNCTION**:
- Assist in the administration and research of best practices in the field of Human Resources (HR) as they relate primarily to labour relations, compensation, disability management and recruitment.
- **REPORTING**:
- Under the general direction of the Director, Human Resources and the technical guidance of HR Leadership.
** D**UTIES**:
- Assist in the research of HR best practices, employment legislation and case law.-
- Assist the development of policies and procedures, grievance responses, collective bargaining documentation, reference documents and other related documents as required.-
- Assist in the development of Standards of Work (SoW) and process mapping.-
- Develop recruitment plans for hard to recruit positions and implement advertising.Process grievance settlements and arbitration awards.-
- Compile data for monthly, annual or adhoc statistical reporting and analyze data as required.-
