The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation is a not-for-profit corporation responsible for the safe and efficient movement of marine traffic through the Canadian Seaway. The Corporation plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the waterway remains a safe and well-managed system to enable ship to transit between Montreal and Lake Erie, through bridges and 13 locks.

**Role**:

- The Coordinator - Procurement is responsible to provide daily supervision to the Procurement team, including leadership, coordination, planning, technical expertise, support and complex issue resolution, towards the achievement of the department's mandate and objectives.**Responsibilities**:

- Provide daily leadership and supervision to team members in the execution of the department’s mandate, workload and objectives related to the function.
- Coordinate resources for the purpose of meeting deliverables, by assigning work to various team members, tracking progress and correcting discrepancies/gaps as required.
- Oversee the coordination and work executed by contractors as required.
- Provide input on budget preparations and ensure proper expenditures, including monitoring and reporting cost overruns such as overtime, expenditures and equipment.

**Experience and knowledge**:

- Minimum of five (5) years related procurement experience.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Procurement management, Purchasing, inventory management, sourcing, and contract negotiation.
- Knowledge of budget management, reporting, project planning and management, as well as basic legal requirements.
- Knowledge of applicable standards, rules, codes and regulations with respect to performing duties.

**Education**:

- College Diploma in Procurement Management
- Additional post-secondary courses in Supervision/Leadership

**Certifications**:

- Member of the SCMA (Supply Chain Management Association) in Ontario or AGCS (Association de la gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement)
- Valid Class G (ON) or Class 5 (QC) driver's license and insurable driving record

**Hours of work**:37.5 per week

**Salary range**:$94,770.00 to $105,280.50
