Accounts Receivable/payable Administrator

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Process and manage **Accounts Payable (AP)** and **Accounts Receivable (AR)**, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Enter, code, and verify invoices; prepare and issue payments.
- Generate and send customer invoices; monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Assist with full‑cycle accounting tasks as required.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure timely and accurate recording of business transactions.
- Prepare account reconciliations including bank, credit card, vendor statements, and employee expenses.
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
- Maintain organized and confidential accounting and administrative records.
- Perform general administrative tasks (filing, document preparation, photocopying, etc.).
- Provide support by preparing reports, memos, spreadsheets, and other documents as needed.
- Provide general office support during staff vacation coverage to ensure continuity of operations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure clear and effective communication.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
**Skills**
- Minimum Diploma in accounting, finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in full cycle accounting.
- Residential construction experience considered and asset.
- Working knowledge of General Ledger and Chart of Account structures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- General understanding of computerized accounting systems, experience working with Sage 100 Contractor considered an asset.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.84-$33.65 per hour
