**Store Manager**
We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Store Manager to lead our location, ensuring its reputation, efficiency, and profitability. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for setting and achieving performance goals, hiring and training staff, and maintaining positive customer relationships. This is a hands-on role that requires active involvement in day-to-day operations, including customer transactions and resolving issues.
**Responsibilities**:
- Take full ownership of the reputation, efficiency, and profitability of the location.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in all aspects of store operations.
- Set goals and objectives for the location, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies for improvement.
- Direct the hiring, training, and development of staff, ensuring a knowledgeable and motivated team.
- Work closely with staff to drive profitability and efficiency through effective sales techniques and cost management.
- Foster a positive and customer-centric environment, ensuring staff delivers exceptional service and prioritizes customer satisfaction for referral and repeat business.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or Retail Manager is an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience managing a team of 6-8 members in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with employees and vendors.
- Must be results-oriented, driven, well-organized, and goal-oriented.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook & Excel).
- Ability to handle customer transactions, process returns, answer phones, and actively participate in day-to-day operations.
**Education Requirements**:
- A four-year college degree in business administration or marketing is preferred.
- Relevant coursework in mathematics, computers/electronics, automotive service and technology, and business is useful.
- Analytical skills are highly valued in this role.
**Physical Demands**:
- Working in this industry can be physically demanding, requiring employees to be on their feet for extended periods and carry heavy and awkwardly sized items.
- A reasonable level of physical fitness and flexibility is expected to meet the demands of the position.
