**The Purpose of this position**:
AutoShack Retail Sales Associates are responsible for helping customers find the correct parts for their vehicles and helping them get back on the road. As well as assisting the customer with their needs, the retail sales associate is also a sales person commissioned on up sell opportunities. For an employee to succeed in this position they must have a great work ethic and strong self motivation, when the employee is not dealing with customers, they are fulfilling stock orders, loading shelves, processing, returns, and answering phones.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Answer phone calls for pricing and availability.
- Assist customers with MMY look ups, part packages, and special orders.
- Take full payments for customer purchases from outside vendors.
- Process vendor orders, and returns, credits, and stock orders.
- Restock and reface retail shelving as needed on a daily basis.
- Clean all customer areas including showroom and washroom.
- Put stock orders away using the proper bin location and inventory system.
- Follow up with customers when their order arrives.

**Qualifications** **and Skills**
- High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills and ability.
- 2 years experience in a retail sales role.
- Hard working, self motivated, driven, ambitious.
- Experience in the use of computers to include researching and looking up information, working with Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent Punctuality and Attendance.

**Physical Demands**:
Working in this industry can be physically demanding. Certain positions require employees to spend most of their workday on their feet and to carry heavy and awkwardly sized items. A reasonable level of physical fitness and flexibility is expected.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $19.60 per hour
