Content Creator Intern

Redpoint Technologies is based in Squamish BC with a new office conveniently located in the center of downtown. We are a startup and our company culture is definitely unique. Being based in Squamish, we all love getting outside, skiing, climbing, kiteboarding, mountain biking ect... Last year we did a monthly long trip to Mexico and this year we went to Sardinia, Italy for a month long company offsite to soak in the sun and do some rock climbing. We love playing board games, training and having dinners as a team. Redpoint Technologies builds business expense tracking software called "Easy Expense" used by tens of thousands of sole proprietors and businesses around the world. We use AI to automatically find tax deductions for small businesses saving them hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars. We are looking for a content creator to help produce videos to reach more potential customers. Here are some examples of what we have done in the past: Long form content like: Short form content like: We are looking for content to use on our website, social media and in advertising. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Brainstorming ideas for videos with the team and doing research on our users, competitors and trending video hooks 2. Creating video scripts with the team 3. Filming and starring in the videos - you can pull in other team members for the shoots but you MUST be very comfortable being in front of the camera 4. Editing the videos Equipment including lights, mics, green screen, camera, laptop ect. will be provided and we will allocate a budget for any addition tools or props you may need. Our expectation is that you on average complete five short form videos per week (i.e. videos you spend 2-6 hours on each) and one long form video (i.e. videos you spend 10-30 hours on each). If you hit your target you will get a $3,000 bonus. This role is intended as a internship position for a 3-4 month period. If you are a good fit, a permanent position with salary, extended health benefits and company stock is definitely possible. No experience is required for this position and we are open to anyone, student, recent grad or don't have a college degree. To be a good fit for this role you should consider yourself: 1.
