We’re currently seeking a skilled and motivated **Dispatcher** to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly.

**Position Overview**

As a **Dispatcher**, you’ll play a key role in coordinating daily operations across our **trucking, excavation, and garden center divisions**. You’ll manage the flow of trucks, equipment, and crews to ensure everything runs efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Dispatch & Scheduling**
- Assign and coordinate a fleet of trucks, heavy equipment, foremen, and crews for daily projects.
- Coordinate deliveries of materials throughout Eastern Ontario to contractors, garden centers, and project sites.
- Monitor schedules and adjust plans as needed due to weather, breakdowns, or changing priorities.

**Fleet & Equipment Coordination**
- Communicate with mechanics and repair shops to verify readiness and availability of trucks and equipment.
- Track maintenance schedules and report any service needs or downtime.

**Yard & Inventory Management**
- Work closely with the yard loader operator to maintain adequate inventory levels of aggregate, soil, and other materials.
- Coordinate pick-ups from our landscape depot and aggregate pit.

**Communication & Support**
- Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, operators, site supervisors, and management.
- Provide clear, consistent instructions and updates to crews throughout the day.

**Garden Center Sales & Customer Service**
- Handle inbound sales calls, providing product information, pricing, and delivery scheduling.
- Support seasonal garden center operations by coordinating product deliveries and ensuring customer satisfaction.

**Administrative Duties**
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, time records, and equipment usage reports.
- Track loads, job progress, and fuel usage.
- Support office staff with additional administrative and scheduling tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a **Dispatcher** in trucking, construction, or excavation preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with dispatching software and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of trucks, heavy equipment, and local geography is an asset.
- Customer service or sales experience considered an asset.
- **Bilingual (English/French)** preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
