**What’s the ask?**
This supervisory role will support the Manager, Technical Services with local oversite of the technical services team, ensuring a high standard of service is met while fostering a collaborative team dynamic.
The incumbent will support the benefits team with TPA and TPP processes, coaching, and strategic collaboration to ensure client needs are met.
**Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
- Coaching and mentoring team members with the guidance and support of the Technical Services leadership team;
- Develop and support an effective team who will contribute to the achievement of business goals and targets;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operations and function of the department;
- Review and analyze the allocation of tasks to staff;
- Collaborate with the Consulting team to identify gaps in service levels or opportunities for improving processes;
- Peer review of technical processes completed by team members
- Co-ordinate training within the TPA/TPP Technical Services team members;
- Discuss and resolve complex problems;
- Remain knowledgeable of workload distribution across the team to support resourcing for/from other locations;
- Communicate cross-functional best practices;
- Think creatively and be a change agent.
**What does it take?**
- Strong coaching and effective leadership skills
- 3 to 5 years of professional work experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Third-Party Administration (TPA) and Third-Party Payor (TPP) benefit plans
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint & Word
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Ability to prioritize & adapt to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy;
- Able to work independently and self-motivated;
- Sound judgment, ethics, and integrity;
- Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal;
- Responsible for making work a fun and enjoyable environment;
- Bilingualism in French & English (verbal & written), a strong asset
