**Job Title: Festival Operations Team - Caribbean Food & Music Festival**
**Dates: August 8-10, 2024**
**Compensation: $18.00 per hour**

**Join One of Toronto’s Most Exciting Summer Festivals**

We’re looking for dependable, professional, and energetic individuals to join the Event Operations Team for a major Caribbean food and music festival this August in Etobicoke. This frontline team is essential to the smooth flow of attendees and participants across the festival grounds. Team members will be stationed at key operational points, helping to maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organized environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support entry procedures and guest movement in designated areas
- Interact with attendees in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide general information and assistance to guests
- Follow specific protocols and procedures regarding guest flow and zone access
- Monitor activity in your assigned zone and assist with enforcing festival guidelines
- Handle minor conflicts or rule infractions calmly and respectfully, escalating as needed
- Collaborate with on-site supervisors and security personnel to ensure a safe environment
- Background in event support, customer service, or security is considered an asset
- Maintain clear communication and professionalism in high-traffic settings
- Other operational duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a public-facing role with a high volume of interactions
- Able to work on your feet for long periods in outdoor conditions
- Available for the entire festival weekend**:August 8-10, 2024**:

- Experience in events, customer service, or operations is an asset
- Willingness to follow structured instructions and report to team leads
