We are currently seeking a Weekend Prep Cook to join our team

**Job Title**: Weekend Prep Cook

**Location**: Chemainus, BC

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow the prep list diligently to ensure efficient food preparation
- Organize and stock ingredients for easy access
- Accurately measure ingredients and seasonings
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing, chopping, and cutting
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensure proper storage of food and supplies
- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed

- You will primarily work alone but will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of the kitchen

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
- Proficiency in using cutting tools and kitchen utensils
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to work independently when necessary

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 13 - 16 per week
