We're a local bakery bistro and looking for experienced breakfast, lunch and brunch cooks for a fast paced kitchen. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Help to join our team. As a Kitchen Help, you will be responsible for assisting our chefs with various tasks, such as food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes
- Able to make simple order independently
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down counters and surfaces, and taking out the trash
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of our customers and staff
- Help with receiving and storing food deliveries
- Other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience working in a kitchen or restaurant preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- At least 1 year cooking experience in restaurant

Food handling certificate/ Food safe certificate

Job type: full-time / part-time

Wage: starting at $16.5 per hour, depending on experience. Plus good amount of tips

Schedule: 7-8 hours shift per day, up to 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Sunday, holidays.
