**Operations Analyst - Security Services Operations**
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Operations Analyst to support the security services operations and the company’s CATSA program. This role plays a vital part in ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and financial accuracy across a nationwide service team of 130 technicians. The Operations Analyst will assist within overall program management, vendor coordination, ERP management, and financial processes to drive program success.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of security services operations, specifically the **CATSA program**, ensuring **compliance** with all contractual and regulatory obligations.
- **Supervise and provide leadership** to operational staff, ensuring alignment with program goals and fostering a high-performance work environment.
- Support the **development and implementation** of strategic initiatives to optimize program performance and efficiency.
- Assist in **oversight of vendor relationships, procurement coordination, and service-level agreements** to maintain operational effectiveness.
- **Manage ERP operations**, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, workflow optimization, and data integrity.
- Work closely with **finance teams** to fully support **invoicing processes**, ensuring all billing for security services is **accurate, timely, and compliant** with contract terms and financial standards.
- Act as a **liaison between teams**, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals across different operational areas.
- Assist in **defending audits and regulatory reviews**, ensuring that all necessary documentation, processes, and controls are in place and well-documented.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- **Bachelor’s degree** in **Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field**. A background in a **quantitative field** is also highly valued.
- **5+ years of experience** in **program management, logistics, finance, or service operations**.
- **Supervisory experience required**, with a proven track record of **leading teams, coaching employees, and driving performance improvements**.
- Proven experience managing **large-scale service contracts**, preferably in **security or aviation-related industries**.
- Comfortable working with **large datasets**, with a strong aptitude for **identifying trends, spotting data anomalies, and using data-driven insights** to inform decision-making.
- 3+ years of **managing projects with service organizations and government contracts**:
- Strong **financial background** with deep experience in managing and supporting **invoicing and billing processes**, including a solid understanding of **financial controls, revenue recognition, and budgeting**.
- **Advanced proficiency** in **Excel (VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.), PowerPoint, and PowerBI**.
- **Experience with PowerApps is a plus**, particularly for workflow automation and data management.
- Ability to **present data visually and verbally** to guide conversations with business managers.
- Strong **analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills**.
- **Excellent communication skills** and ability to influence across multiple levels and functions.
- **High degree of reliability and integrity**, with excellent **attention to detail and organizational skills**.
- Ability to **multitask in a fast-paced environment** and juggle multiple complex projects with competing and shifting priorities.
- Experience in **defending audits** and managing **regulatory reviews**, with a solid understanding of **audit processes and requirements** is an asset.
Location: Calgary, AB (in office). Travel up to 10%.
**Salary**: $80,000-$120,000 per year
**The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, and certifications. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.**
