As an SDR at Poka, you get the opportunity to lead the initial outreach to targeted leads of prominent potential customers. You will be responsible for generating qualified meetings and pipeline for Poka Inc's sales organization. In this role you will leverage creative marketing and sales tactics to prospect, present and engage with multiple buyer personas and roles to introduce Poka Inc's value.
**_What you'll be responsible for:_**
- Identifying high potential companies & buyers who can benefit from Poka's solution.
- Developing MQL into sales qualified leads (SQLs) within assigned territory, industries through discovery calls, demos and follow up call following Poka best practices and qualification matrix.
- Proactively reaching out to and secure meetings with a target list of identified accounts and MQLs.
- Working towards a quota of calls and demos per week to sustain level of activity necessary to drive the expected business outcomes in terms of SQL generation.
- Qualifying early stage opportunities and capture details and all related activities and tasks in CRM (Salesforce).
- Demo-ing Poka via web conference and answer preliminary product and implementation question.
- Scheduling and participating in hand-off meetings with Account Executives ensuring a seamless experience and maximum efficiency.
- Nurturing early-stage, 'book of business' leads, scheduling tasks for future follow up.
**_What you bring to the table:_**
- Eager to lear - You will study our product and be eager to refine your sales skills over time to be great at what you do.
- Empathy - You want to understand the prospects when it comes to their reactions to Poka.
- Motivation - You are self-motivated and hungry for success — ideally with a very big appetite for knowledge and numbers.
- Resourcefulness - You possess the resourcefulness to solve problems creatively in your daily activities, you will be able to provide an edge for your prospecting.
- You have around 1 year of sales experience in a B2B (ideally software) environment.
- You're an excellent communicator in English (and French would be awesome).
