What You’ll Do

We are currently accepting resumes from **organized** and** team-oriented** individuals who are looking for a career as an **Collection Clerk** at **Calmont Truck Centre** Location **Edmonton, AB**.

As an important part of the accounting team, you will verify and post accounts receivable transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records and manage collection activities.

As an **Collections Clerk**, some of your responsibilities will be:

- Collect payments for assigned accounts receivable portfolios.
- Manage, perform and document collection calls on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile assigned accounts, investigate discrepancies, and manage month end account adjustments.
- Manage the customer statement process, send invoices to customers and follow up with customer requests.
- Prepare head office bank deposits.
- Update customer portfolios as needed.
- Prepare various reports as required.
- Complete other administrative or accounting duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For
- Prior credit and collections experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in an Accounting/Administrative capacity.
- Energetic and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior knowledge of CDK and collections experience are considered an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail with the drive to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge and experience with MS, Word and Excel.
