We’re looking for a **Business Development Representative (BDR)** to join our team. In this role, you’ll spark conversations with key players in the construction industry, showcase our innovative web-based 3D site logistics and 4D simulation platform, and fuel the growth of a product that’s revolutionizing how the world builds.

**Our Product**
Developed by CadMakers, cmBuilder.io is a fast-growing visual construction planning software platform that is redefining how construction projects are planned, communicated, and delivered. Our fully web-based platform enables construction teams to create dynamic 3D site logistics models and 4D simulations, allowing construction companies to build their projects in the digital world before breaking ground in the real one — enabling smarter decisions, smoother execution, and more wins.
With rapid adoption across North America, Europe, and Australia, cmBuilder is on a mission to democratize construction tech by making it more accessible, intuitive, and impactful.
**About the Role**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Lead Nurturing**: Follow up with inbound leads and event attendees to qualify interest and guide them toward demos.
- **Meeting Scheduling**: Book and coordinate introductory calls and product demos between prospects and the sales team.
- **CRM Hygiene**: ️ Track and manage outreach activity, notes, and opportunity progression within HubSpot (or similar CRM).
- **Trade Shows & Events**: ️ Support in-person lead generation efforts at industry events and trade shows when needed.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with sales leaders, marketing, and customer success to refine outreach strategies and share insights from conversations.
**Requirements**:
- 1+ years of experience in a SaaS sales role (SDR, BDR, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed quota in an outbound sales environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Comfortable cold calling and initiating conversations with new prospects.
- Coachable, resilient, and eager to learn from feedback and improve.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM is a plus.
- Bonus: Experience in construction or construction tech is an asset.
**Benefits**

- On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $60-$80k CAD
- Fulltime Workplace: Hybrid position, with in-office days located at our office in Burnaby, BC
