**Law Clerk - Commercial Lending**
**North Toronto**

Our client, a well established and highly regarded boutique law firm located in North Toronto is in need of a Commercial Lending Law Clerk to join its coveted team.

This firm is located steps from the TTC/Subway and close to Highway 401.

This role will work alongside a genuinely nice senior partner with an outstanding reputation within the legal community. This role is available because of a retirement.

In this role you will work within the commercial real estate /financial lending practice carrying out sophisticated transactions. You will ensure client expectations, instructions and requests are satisfied in a timely manner while maintaining positive client relationships.

Your responsibilities and duties will include:

- Filing opening;
- Drafting documents for Lenders;
- Conducting property, PPSA, bankruptcy and writ searches and requisitions;
- Follow up with borrower's lawyers;
- Review agreement of purchase and sale;
- Prepare lender's final reports;
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently is essential.

A salary commensurate with experience and benefit package is being offered.
