Our firm is looking to add a meticulous, highly organized and client-oriented law clerk to support our team of family law lawyers.

**Key responsibilities and tasks**
- Drafting documents, including orders, confirmation forms, correspondence, and other court documents
- Preparing documents for service and filing with the court
- Ensuring that all court deadlines are diarized and met
- Preparing financial statements and disclosure briefs
- Up-to-date on all court processes, deadlines and notices to professions
- Assisting with other legal administrative duties as needed

**Qualifications**
- Ontario Law Clerk Diploma or a degree in a related legal field
- 2-4 years of total experience, with a minimum of 1 year within family law
- Knowledge of Ontario family law rules and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in legal document preparation
- Ability to multi-task and work in a time sensitive environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Empathy, compassion, and integrity

**Location**- Remote working + occasional visits to our office in downtown Toronto (~1x per month)

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Law Clerk: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Law Clerk Diploma or Equivalent? (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5J 2H7
