We are a growing company located in Orleans, on the East side of Ottawa, Ontario. S&R that offers a fun and energetic work environment. This position will be best suited to someone who likes to excel at their work, is willing to learn and wants to grow with the company. Reporting to the Controller, the Finance Clerk is a key player on the finance team.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Review and post invoices and payments. Adjust invoices as required.
- Prepare and record journal entries into accounting software.
- Upload contract values into accounting software.
- Prepare reports for monthly project manager meetings.
- Support accounts payable function at month end.
- Assist as needed in processing supplier invoices
- Support as needed in updating purchase orders and verify against supplier invoices
- Provide support to other departments as needed
- Ad-hoc tasks and reports for the finance team

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Post-secondary education in accounting or equivalent experience
- One to three years of work experience on a finance team is an asset
- Bilingual (English and French) is mandatory
- Proficient in MS Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Jonas systems an asset
- Excellent Team Player
