**Medical Receptionist / **Medical Center in Burlington,ON

A family practice and Walk-in clinic in Burlington,ON is looking for a highly professional, dependable, and trustworthy **part time/full time Medical Receptionists**. The position would be an exciting long term opportunity in a caring, and client-oriented professional environment providing a supportive and innovative patient service.
- **PS suit EMR proficiency is preferred**

**The responsibilities will include**:

- Greet patients, validate health cards and accurately obtain demographics
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits
- Direct patients to exam rooms and assist with basic vitals as needed
- Exam room set up, maintenance and organization
- Process electronic and paper documents (faxing, mailing, scanning) and maintain confidentiality
- Facilitate communication between physicians and patients with appropriate documentation
- Manage referrals and specialist appointments
- Reconcile OHIP payments, collect uninsured payments and maintain records
- Maintain office inventory, order supplies as needed
- Manage vaccine orders and storage.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical office management; Family Medicine Office Administration
- Passion for helping people with a high degree of integrity and professionalism
- Excellent verbal/written communication with Superb client service and organizational skills
- Ability to work well and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and detail oriented
- Proficiency with MS Office Package; good typing speed
- Medical Office Assistant certificate or equivalent
- Knowledge of office procedures and medical terminology
- OHIP and third party billing experience preferred
- Flexible working hours during weekdays, after hours, Saturdays.
- A college/post-secondary education would be an asset
