The Role

We are seeking a **Technical Support Specialist (Tier 2)** to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to own and drive tasks to resolution. You will provide advanced support for our clients, working primarily from home with occasional onsite requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide Tier 2 technical support across client environments.
- Troubleshoot and administer **Active Directory** and **Windows Server** environments.
- Manage **Microsoft 365** and **Entra ID (Azure AD)** administration, including onboarding, security, and access management.
- Handle **network troubleshooting** and support (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, switches).
- Take ownership of support tickets, ensuring timely updates, follow-through, and resolution.
- Collaborate with the team on tasks, projects, and client implementations, ensuring timelines are met.
- Utilize PSA and RMM tools to manage assets, monitor systems, and document work.
- Provide escalation support to Tier 1 technicians when required.

**Requirements**:

- **3-5 years** of technical support or systems administration experience.
- Strong understanding of **Active Directory**, **Windows Server**, and networking fundamentals.
- Solid experience with **Microsoft 365 administration** and **Entra ID**.
- Familiarity with **PSA and RMM tools** in an MSP environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage tasks independently while meeting project deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with both clients and team members.

Nice to Have
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and frameworks (EDR, vulnerability management).
- Familiarity with Intune, GPOs, and automation.
- Exposure to managed services or MSP environments.
