**Your Opportunity**:
You are organized, adaptable, and personable, with a keen attention to details working in a fast-paced, high-volume lab. As Administrative Support II (AS II) at PLC, you will provide inventory and supply management duties and administrative support in the Pre-Analytics department which includes the inpatient lab, outpatient lab and SMG collection site. Reporting to the Supervisor or Manager, this position is responsible for performing a variety of duties including, but not limited to inventory and supply management, specimen reception and data entry, quality management, troubleshooting, and general administrative support. Your main responsibilities include ordering, unpacking, storing, loading and stocking of shelves and carts, and delivery of supplies. You ensure proper rotation of supplies following departmental process and maintain accurate inventory. You maintain the organization and cleanliness of the stock rooms. Other duties include general administrative duties, timekeeping support duties, and handling of patient and employee documents. Your communication and interpersonal skills will help create a positive and professional environment while collaborating with laboratory assistants, procurement personnels, other hospital workers and patients as needed. You can quickly and accurately perform data entry and perform other tasks in Epic/Connect care. You can assist laboratory assistants in the specimen reception and specimen transportation areas. With a high level of precision, you can meet deadlines and benchmarks following established policies and procedures and ensure privacy and safety of customers, coworkers, and yourself.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Administrative Support role within the last year. Inventory and supply management training and experience within the last 2 years. Experience with data entry. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs and Windows based programs within the last year. Any Canadian equivalency to English 30 or 33 or CLBA score of Benchmark 8 completed within the last 6 months.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Inventory and supply management experience in APL, AHS or Calgary RRL within the last year. Experience and training on Kanban system. Administrative Support experience in a Calgary RRL within the last year. Data entry experience using Epic/Connect Care. May be required to complete a keyboarding challenge - minimum of 50 WPM or 15,000 KPH with at least 90% accuracy. Medical Office Assistant certificate. Courses or training in Customer Service. TDG training, WHMIS certification.
