**Responsibilities include accurately and efficiently preparing and producing a varied selection of food.**
- Preps and sets up for daily production as per the daily menu and ensures adequate supply of all required ingredients while ensuring food safety practices are upheld
- Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables.
- Ensure that correct storage conditions for products such as meats, produce, and dairy are maintained. Assists with receiving, checking, and stocking of supplier orders.
- Ensures working areas are kept clean and sanitized.
- Work as a team member and help other employees with their duties.
- Identify any needed stock and inform direct report.
- Provides required customer support to both students and faculty, assists on other food stations as required by customer orders and to cover co-worker’s breaks
- Communicates with the Chef and/or Manager when customers have requests and/or concerns

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 3-years experience would be an asset
- Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- General physical wellness, ability to stand, lift, move etc. for long periods of time
- Successful Police/Vulnerable Sectors Check will be required as you are working among young children
- Up to date Covid-19 vaccination will be required as per client’s policy
- Current CPR, First Aid and WHMIS Training would be an asset
- Available to work shifts on days, evenings, nights and weekends

**Set Schedule**
- Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 PM
- Weekend’s off but may be required for special events

**Benefits**:

**Experience**:

- Food Service: 3 years (preferred)
- Food Prep & Kitchen: 3 years (preferred)
- Direct Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
