- We’re looking for an Employee Services Manager. The Employee Services Manager is responsible for delivering service on HR related programs within the Seasons portfolio inclusive of recruitment and onboarding, performance management, first stage labour relations, investigations and the resolution of employee relations matters including but not limited to human rights, harassment, attendance management, accommodation and modified work issues; the termination of management staff; human resource policy and procedure development; collective agreement interpretations, and developing and delivering human resource related training.- The Employee Services Manager will collaborate with employee services colleagues to provide insight on how they can help drive and delivery strategic recruitment activities, benefits compliance and performance, payroll administration and human resource special projects and provides advice and guidance on all HR related issues internally and to the community level of the organization. This person understands the impact of workflows an process within the Employee Services team as well at the operational/site/ level. This role views results through data, analytics as well as ‘soft’ indicators and the relationships with various stakeholders.
- The Employee Services Manager is the first HR point of contact to department managers within the full portfolio for all items Employee Services related and acts as a highly communicative, service-driven liaison between the site, Employee Services and corporate support team.
- While the Employee Services Manager reports directly to the Senior Director of Employee Services there is also a dotted line to the Director of Labour Relations and Employee Services and strong working ties to the Managers/Senior Directors of Resident & Guest Services (Operations team).

*** Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**
- A bachelor's degree in a field related to human resource management, such as business administration, industrial relations or commerce;
- Progressive management experience or demonstrated leadership abilities/qualities;
- Experience in various human resource functions including recruitment, labour and employee relations, training, performance management, employee investigations, attendance management and conflict resolution;
- Experience working with seniors and/or in a hospitality environment (an asset);
- In-depth knowledge of human resources practices and procedures;
- Ability to solve complex problems;
- Ability to negotiate, persuade, and resolve conflicts;
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate at a high level, both verbally and in writing;
- Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Office and Google Apps, exposure to managing and training HRIS software;
- Ability to develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships and provide sound advice and clear direction to department managers and senior leaders;
- Tact, judgment, adaptable and reliable;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; comfortable with changing directives/priorities; flexible schedule;
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

**Special Requirements**
- Frequent travel within Ontario and Alberta will be required to fulfill the requirements of the position;
- Must be able to manage time deadlines and deliverable dates; is highly organized
- CHRP/CHRL Designation considered an asset;
- Experience with ADP Workforce now or similar full-cycle HRIS system(s)/Talent Management software considered an asset.
