Petcurean is on the hunt for an enthusiastic and energetic Territory Sales Manager in Halifax Regional Municipality area to join our Canadian Sales team

**A glimpse of what you'll be doing**:

- Utilizing the consultative selling approach, partner with our retail and chain accounts to effectively provide Petcurean products and solutions to problems.
- Through effective route planning and understanding the resources available to effectively meet the demands of the territory, the TSM will keep their territories sales activities running smoothly within an approved budget
- Skilled in handling buyer objections, the TSM will pro-actively focus on the value and innovative solutions Petcurean provides.
- Effectively plans and executes a set sales schedule (5-6 weeks), to further support the growth of sales.
- 50% overnight travel between Provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edwards Island, and Newfoundland

**What we're looking for**:

- 3+ year of sales experience in a structured outside / field sales role; or equivalent experience conducting inside sales/customer service within a similar industry/environment.
- Ideally a College or University degree in marketing or business studies;
- Passionate about Petcurean's ultimate promise of putting pets first
- Eager to learn the detailed ins and outs of pet nutrition and being a go-to person for territory inquiries.
- Recognized as being an exceptional team player, who is self-directed and approachable
