**Accreditation Specialist - Home Care Services**:

- Location: Calgary, hybrid, CONTRACT_

As we pursue accreditation to further enhance our services, we seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Accreditation Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our journey toward excellence in care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the organization’s preparation, implementation, and compliance with accreditation standards (e.g., Accreditation Canada ).
- Develop and maintain accreditation project plans, timelines, and documentation to ensure readiness.
- Collaborate with leadership and care teams to identify gaps in current practices and implement improvements to meet accreditation standards.
- Conduct internal audits and quality assessments, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and regulations.
- Facilitate training and education sessions for staff to promote understanding of accreditation requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Ohana Care and accreditation bodies.
- Prepare and submit reports, documentation, and performance data as required for accreditation purposes.
- Monitor post-accreditation compliance and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Nursing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare quality management, accreditation, or project leadership (home care experience an asset).
- Strong understanding of healthcare accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence change.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
