**Job Title**:Proposal Specialist

**Reporting to**: Sales Operations & Program Manager

**Role Definition**:
**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing & Production to coordinate the execution of customer quotes by respecting deadlines.
- Obtain vendor quotes for pricing, freight cost, min, lead time. Create preferred and secondary source supplier, include pricing, lead time and min/mult information.
- Read Drawings and BOM’s
- Ensure that all required sections of the Proposal are accurate, complete and compliant with RFP requirements
- Update proposals as per feedback and design changes
- Attend handoff meetings to ensure effective transfer of projects to relevant operational departments
- Support outside sales reps and agents in winning bid opportunities
- Identify and help implement innovative ways for improving efficiency of quotation process
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- 1 year experience in Sales / Customer service, administration or in similar role in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Experience with electronics, cable, connectors, electrical components an asset
- Strong computer literacy (advanced user of Microsoft Excel) and experience with ERP systems an asset
- Thorough, detail oriented, and organized
- Strong multitasking skills while being adaptable to changing environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills - able to work with teams of varying sizes, technical abilities, and levels of authority
- Dynamic, driven and wiling to learn with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team Player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $1.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)
