**Role definition**:
Reporting to the VP of sales, The Technical Proposal Specialist will play a pivotal role in the proposal development process, focusing on the technical aspects related to labour estimates and tooling requirements.
- **Responsibilities**:_

Labour Estimates:

- Develop labor estimates based on manufacturing processes (i.e., kitting, assembly, finishing, inspection, etc.);
- Collect feedback from production technicians and team leads to understand resource allocation and constraints;
- Utilize historical data and industry benchmarks to ensure realistic and competitive labor estimates.

Tooling Analysis:

- Assess tooling requirements based on assembly instructions and materials on-hand;
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify optimal tooling solutions, focusing on minimizing costs;
- Evaluate existing tooling inventory and recommend enhancements or new acquisitions as needed.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, and /or a related field;
- 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing
- 1-2 years of experience in technical proposal development with a focus on tooling and labor estimates;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into accurate estimates;
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in estimating and documenting technical details;
- You are a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision;
- You must also be a person with initiative, have a strong sense of responsibility and good engineering judgment to be able to meet due dates and respect project milestones;
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills (oral and written);
