Security Operations Centre Dispatcher

At our Burnaby Office, we are hiring for a **full-time Security Dispatcher** **/ Operator.**This is a key customer service position in the company, responsible for making internal calls to our employees and ensuring their safety and well-being on the field. The Dispatch team is also the first point of contact for all inbound employee calls to the Head Office. You will be ensuring our Security Officers receive quick and efficient support.

**What would you do**:

- Act as the main point of contact for all security guards and customer contact after hours
- Schedules all after-hour requests
- Dispatch appropriate mobile resources to various sites
- Maintain database records of all Securiguard policies and procedures
- Manage break relief for Securiguard sites
- Ensure employees are checking in every hour or as required
- Work effectively with other team members to ensure that departmental goals and key performance indicators are achieved or exceeded
- Keep track of ongoing issues, resolving problems with the team and keeping client and personal up to date on progress.

**What would you bring**:

- Proficient in English, written and oral
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Previous Call Center experience is an asset
- Previous experience working with computers and basic familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

**Nice to Have**
- ** BC Security License** (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience working with two-way radio systems
- Experience with using Microsoft Excel
- Positive attitude and upbeat/friendly personality.
- Experience with Real Time Adherence (RTA) is an asset.
- Experience with Work Force Management (WFM) is an asset
